The line of travel
From river to ice, then south
These points are not a fame list. They are one line: arrive in Vienna in the east, climb with the Danube into the Wachau, reach Salzburg and Hallstatt where the walls begin, then Innsbruck in the valley, then Grossglockner on the ice. Graz in the south is a last stop, because the south is a city and a hill, not a peak. Read the places in that order.
