Where is it?

Spain between two seas

The mainland has the Atlantic to the west and the Mediterranean to the east, Portugal along the western border, France and Andorra to the north, and the Bay of Biscay above that. The Canary Islands, Tenerife among them, lie far out in the Atlantic. Madrid, the capital, sits in the middle of the plateau, not on a beach.
