  1. 3rd millennium BC

    The settlements and tombs of Hili in Al Ain, including the Hili Grand Tomb.

  2. About 1446

    Al Bidya Mosque is built in Fujairah of stone and mud.

  3. 1761

    Qasr Al Hosn is built, the oldest building in Abu Dhabi.

  4. 1787

    Al Fahidi Fort is built, the oldest surviving building in Dubai.

  5. 1877

    Al Jahili Fort is built in Al Ain.

  6. 2 December 1971

    The United Arab Emirates is formed.
