Marina Bay

Marina Bay is the waterfront bowl where sea meets a skyline of towers in the city centre. Marina Bay Sands rises as three towers with a sky deck above; residential tower height is given as 191.4 metres in the sources. The ArtScience Museum sits on the quay like a lotus of glass. The Merlion sprays water toward the bay; its height is 8.6 metres. At night the Supertree Grove across the water lights up. Give yourself a full day for walking and photographs, and an evening for the light show on the Supertrees. Promenades around the water stay open to pedestrians, and the sea breeze softens midday heat a little. Do not try to fold Marina Bay and every heritage district into one day: leave the evening for lights, and the morning for quieter paths before crowds build.
