Along the Nile from Cairo to Abu Simbel

The Nile, the world's longest river, flows from south to north. Luxor lies about 670 km south of Cairo, Aswan about 220 km beyond Luxor, and Abu Simbel about 230 km south-west of Aswan on the shore of Lake Nasser. Most temple journeys follow this line.
