These points are not a fame list. They form one line: arrive in Tokyo, visit Kyoto and Osaka on Honshu, pass Fuji and Hakone, then jump north to Hokkaido or south to Okinawa, and stop at Hiroshima and Miyajima. Read the places in that rhythm: city, then wood, then summit, then island.
